With the weather getting colder you want to make sure you take care of your whole instrument: Your Body!

Here’s a yummy, healthy Chai (tea) you can make at home any time you feel like pampering and warming yourself from the inside out.

Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil.

Add the following:

  • 1 inch of fresh ginger root, peeled, diced
  • 1 stick of licorice, broken into pieces
  • optional: 1 Tbs. rooibos tea
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 8 cardamom seeds
  • 8 coriander seeds

Simmer on low for about 5 minutes.

Turn off heat.


  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric

Let steep with lid on for 20 minutes.

Pour into cups through strainer.

Add coconut/almond/cashew milk and a pinch of Stevia to taste.

Great as a preventative as well as cure.
